WebIn the Reckoners trilogy, a lot of powers were simple, and a lot of powers were absurd. But they all felt surmountable. The Epics in Lux felt insurmountable for most of the book. These were High Epics, all concentrated in one city, and it was a brutal, bloody campaign to take them out. I LOVED that aspect.
